Is your child looking for a fun non exam dance class? then try out Dance QT.

Our classes will provide your child with performance skills, confidence, technique, rhythm and they get to learn new dance routines almost every week in a fun and friendly environment.

Dance QT offers Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Acro and Contemporary classes for 2-18year olds.

Brooklyns inspiration to teach comes from seeing her students gain confidence and a passion to express themselves through movement.

At the end of term 2 Dance QT puts on a mid-year showcase and at the end of term 4 a end of year show that every student gets to perform at!.

About me

Brooklyn is a qualified dance teacher with her Level 5 Diploma and has more than 4 years’ experience with teaching dance. Brooklyn started dance at the age of 4 and loves it with a passion.

With over a 16-year background in dance Brooklyn has trained in multiple types of dances, Ballet BBO and RAD, Jazz, Contemporary and Hip Hop. 2020 was her final year for jazz and contemporary exams, She completed Advanced 2 Jazz exam achieving the highest mark in New Zealand, and Jazz solo seal exam placing in the top 3 in New Zealand, diploma for contemporary. In 2021 she sat her final BBO Advanced 2 Ballet Exam achieving Distinction. Brooklyn loved to dance in competitions and in 2018 she received a PACANZ nomination for Jazz and Contemporary. Brooklyn also studied dance through Te Kura achieving excellence throughout the course. In 2020 she completed her level 4 diploma to teach dance and in 2021 completed her level 5 diploma to become a qualified dance teacher.

CLASS RULES

All students will need a water bottle with a lid but absolutely no food in the studio

No student phones are to be used in the dance studio

VIEWING CLASSES

Viewing of classes is only permitted for Toddlers Moves and Grooves on Wednesday afternoon, all classes above this level are closed classes as students tend to focus better without parents in the room.

Dance QT puts on two shows throughout the year to showcase what students have learnt in class.

TERM FEES

Invoices are emailed 3 weeks prior to the start of the term, with fees being due prior to the commencement of the term

Our bank account details are indicated on your invoice for payment online, please include the invoice number and the students name with all payments

Toddlers Pricing:

For Wednesday toddler class only:

-Term fee $10 per class (pre-paid term fee)

-Half Term payment (pick 5 weeks to come throughout the term) $12.50

-Casual fee $15 per class (invoiced on the day)

*Term fees are non-refundable.

*Late fees: Fees not paid by their due date will have a 5% added charge

STUDENT TEACHERS:

At Dance QT we like to make sure every student gets the most out of our classes so we have two fabulous student teachers Lila and Mikaela who are assistant teachers for our younger larger classes. Both teachers have over 10 years of experience in dance and are dedicated to making sure our younger students have a great time while learning dance.
